CASA of Los Angeles organizes the community to take action and advocate for children and families in LA County’s overburdened child welfare and juvenile justice systems. Providing the ordinary person a path to make extraordinary impact, CASA of LA trains and resources volunteers, known as CASAs, to play a supportive role for youth and young adults navigating those complex systems. CASAs go further and build a bond with their youth and show up in many other aspects of life, ensuring each youth has the support they need to thrive. Pictured is a CASA with her youth, a young mother. The CASA helped her receive support so that her baby does not enter the foster care system. Doheny is a proud partner of CASA of LA since 1998.
